Music at Marie Reed is taught by Sandra Granobles, a multi-talented fine arts performer and music teacher with excellent dual-language written and oral communication skills. Ms. Granobles has over ten years of professional work experience in the field of music, education and classical piano instruction in Colombia and the United States.  In 2016 American University in Washington, DC awarded Ms. Granobles a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management.  She joined the Marie Reed faculty in 2017.

Ms. Granobles focuses on developing students’ understanding of music as a vehicle of self-expression, composition and improvisation where the digital keyboard is the center of our music instruction.  All the students are exposed to bilingual nursery, folk, popular, classical, modern music from here and around the world according to their level of learning. The music curriculum is designed to develop the musical concepts of voice, keyboard, improvisation, notation, composition and arrangements from Kindergarten to 5th Grade.
